Free Stuff That's (Hopefully) Helpful

This is such a weird time of year. Some teams are still in summer mode- folks in and out on vacation. Folks in schools and school supporting roles are either about to launch the school year or— depending on where you live- are fully in it. But regardless of what is happening, I know there are leaders navigating a lot of change.

I wanted to share that I’m hosting a free 30-minute webinar on Clarifying Roles and Decision Making to Unlock Team Performance on July 30 at 12pm EST. Whether you are a new leader, having taken on new initiatives, or just feel turned upside down given, well <wildly gesticulates around>, the session is focused on practical and actionable tools and strategies. I’d love if you came- or share this with a newer leader on your team that could benefit. Anyone who signs up will get the recording. Sign up here— and please share it with others. (You can share or repost this LinkedI post) And look out for a four week course on leading with clarity in September- it’ll launch in August. Be sure you follow me on LinkedIn, though I’ll announce it here as well!

And, while I have you, I should share two helpful resources

  • Are you trying to figure out how to develop your team? I shared some advice on how in CEO Magazine for an article on Embedding Continuous Growth, along with several other leaders. There are a lot of great, low-lift, high-impact ideas. If you are looking for new and not crazy-expensive ways to develop your team, the article is here.

  • Are you planning a leadership offsite, summer professional development or board retreat? This HBR article was super helpful and shares some guided questions. Remember, you are planning an experience not an agenda. (And if you are looking for a facilitator, let me know- I love facilitating AND I know some great ones. I’m not right for every team so happy to connect you with someone who is.

One last thing- I’m growing my newsletter list, as it’s more reliable outreach than social media (what’s up with the two week old posts on LinkedIn). So if you’re reading this and have benefited from the resources, please share with folks you know who would benefit.

Thanks for all of your support,

Lisa
